Create a campaign people can recognize before the logo appears. A distinctive character, a clear idea and a performance that makes the message feel human.
Mimic Cartoon develops character-led animated commercials and branded content for agencies and brand teams. A project can include a new 3D mascot, animation of an existing character, or a defined contribution to a larger campaign. We plan the performance and final delivery around your creative direction, audience, placements and approval process.
Create a character with recognizable proportions, colors and behavior, or develop an existing mascot for 3D production. Plan its expression range and reusable assets so future campaign work can build on a consistent identity.
02 / THE CRAFT
Character-led commercials
Shape a clear visual idea around the product or message. Staging, acting and pacing help the character support the campaign rather than compete with it. We can collaborate with your agency’s approved treatment and production team.
03 / THE CRAFT
Campaign versions & cutdowns
Define hero films, shorter edits and aspect ratios before layout and animation. Alternate end cards, localized dialogue and platform versions should be part of the delivery matrix, so important action remains readable across placements.

A USEFUL DISTINCTION
An animated commercial is a campaign deliverable. A brand-character commission creates an asset that can appear across campaigns. You may need one, the other or both; defining this early prevents a one-off film from being mistaken for a complete reusable mascot package.
CLEAR DECISIONS. BETTER PRODUCTION.
From the first conversation to the final handoff.
01
Align the campaign
Review the audience, message, brand rules, treatment and placements. Identify the people responsible for creative and final approvals.
02
Approve the character & edit
Resolve visual direction and storyboards, then review a timed animatic. Confirm brand and product presentation before detailed production.
03
Animate & finish
Develop the performance, lighting and compositing within the agreed scope. Review the commercial as a sequence, including its message and end frame.
04
Deliver the versions
Check the approved duration, crop, titles and audio for each commissioned version. Package the masters and any agreed reusable character assets.

FROM THE WIDER STUDIO’S PORTFOLIO
Samsung Willow.
Mimic Productions contributed character creation, modeling, grooming, keyframe animation, look development and rendering to the Samsung campaign with Kingdom of Something.
The budget depends on character development, runtime, shot complexity, product interactions, finishing and the number of campaign versions. An approved character can reduce design work, but new actions or close-ups may require rig and material changes. We estimate the production after reviewing the creative and delivery requirements.
YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Animated Commercials & Brand Characters FAQs
A few useful answers before your character’s first scene.
Q / 01
Can you work with our creative agency?
Yes. We can contribute character production or animation within an agency-led campaign. Agree the creative responsibilities, review process, asset handoffs and finishing ownership so each production partner knows what they are delivering.
Q / 02
Can you animate an existing brand mascot?
Yes, subject to the supplied design and asset review. A flat mascot may need a 3D interpretation, while an existing model may need rig or material updates. The required performance and placements determine the work.
Q / 03
Can one commercial be adapted for social media?
Yes, when the variations are planned. Portrait, square and landscape frames may require changes to staging, titles and edit length. We agree a delivery matrix rather than assume every version can be made by cropping the master.
Q / 04
Do you create new brand characters as well as films?
Yes. Character design and modeling can be included alongside animation, or commissioned as a separate stage. Specify whether the character must be reusable for later films, stills, games or interactive experiences.
Q / 05
Does the service include media buying or ad placement?
The service described here is creative and animation production. Media buying, campaign distribution and performance reporting are not assumed to be included. Your agency or marketing team can define those responsibilities separately.
Q / 06
Can you guarantee campaign results?
No production can guarantee engagement, sales or a particular return. Our scope focuses on the agreed creative quality and deliverables. Distribution, targeting, offer and measurement also influence campaign outcomes.
